* Raising a grant funding for the Cairo University Hospital, Kasr El Eini, the Neurotraumatology Unit.

BCC is assisting in raising a grant funding for the upgrading of the Neurotraumatology Unit to keep up with the ever increasing demand for their highly specialized medical and emergency services. * A 750-Megawatt Gas-Fired Power Station in Egypt.

BCC is the sponsor of the construction and operation of a combined cycle power plant with total capacity of 750 MWH in Egypt. The plant consists of two gas turbines with a generating capacity of 250 MWH each, and a two-boiler cluster for retrieval of heat generated from gas turbines' exhaust to fire a steam turbine with a capacity of 250 MWH in order to maximize utilization of gas feedstock.

The plant targets to fulfill part of the electricity demand for the Egyptian companies that have recently been granted licenses for cement and steel manufacturing; namely 11 cement factories and 5 steel mills.

* BCC has formed a Consortium which knows well the nuclear power generating industry, as well as all the players, and have advised no less than seven governments around the world. The Consortium includes the most renowned American company that specializes in providing the full range of services and consultancies for nuclear power generation projects.
The Consortium provides the following scope of services

(1) Brings together a group of most reputable and most experienced participants to the table (i.e., contractor, operator, equipment supplier, …etc), and assists in placing orders for reactors, knowing that there are only four reactor manufacturers and only one supplier of specialty steel, and they sell their products on a first-come first-served basis. Therefore, moving fast on orders will be critical due to current demand trend. The construction period for a reactor is about 40-48 months;
(2)Puts the necessary components together and work with governments on regulations and record keeping; and
(3)Provides financial advisory services, including funding up to 80% of the total costs of a new nuclear power plant provided that key criteria are met.
