* BCC has signed a Service Agreement with Teradata, the flagship in Data Warehouse industry world-wide. The Agreement exclusively designates BCC to extend its professional business promotion services to Teradata in the oil and gas industry as well as the mining sector in Egypt.

* “BRIDGING THE MEDITERRANEAN: The Athens Business Forum” - (Athens, July 8th - 10th 2009) BCC Chairman and CEO, Dr. Bahgat participated as a speaker in this event, the presentation entitled “BPI 750 MW Combined Cycle Merchant Power Plant”. This is the show-case Merchant Power Plant currently under implementation by Benchmark Power International - Egypt, in the context of deregulating the electricity market in Egypt.
* On Sunday, May 3rd, 2009, BCC has entered into a representation Agreement with Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC, the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gases and Gas Technologies (VNIIGAZ) the research arm of GAZPROM. The Agreement designates BCC to assist VINIGAZ in developing and expanding the full scope of its activities in the oil and gas industry and related services in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
* On Thursday, February 5th, Dr. Ahmed Bahgat, the Chairman of BCC held high level talks in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania with General Mohamed Ould Abelaziz, the President of the Republic, the Pri-Minister, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, the Minister of Investment Promotion, the Minister of Fishery, the Minister of Petroleum and Mining, and the Minister of Hydraulic and Energy, in order to further the interests of BCC in the different sectors of the Mauritanian economy.”
* Round Table” — (July 21st, 2008 in Cairo, Egypt), BCC Chairman and CEO, Dr. Bahgat, participated in Round Table organized by the Institute of National Planning (INP) in Egypt to discuss the outcome of the study on the “Implications of International Fuel Prices on the Feasibility of Eastern Nile Subsidiary Action Program (ENSAP) Hydropower Interconnection Projects.
